Q&A with Rxseay, an 18 year old artist from Houston Texas who has accumulated thousands of plays across all platforms.

What made you get into music? “Growing up I always had a thing for music, my mom had wrote poems and I took after her at the age of like 5 after a couple years I was writing deep and lyrical poetry, I started to slowly turn it into music and now I'm here where I am today trying to progress each day”.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? “I see myself surrounded with a group of people who share the same ideas and just wanna share positive and motivational messages to the world, I see myself building a fan base/ community of people that struggle with mental health and use my music for comfort, motivation, and positive energy”.

Who are your biggest inspirations? “My biggest inspirations are my mom, NF, and SadBoyProlific.”

What is your message for the youth? "Stay focused on your dreams, don't let people turn them into nightmares".

What is the biggest struggle you’ve faced?. “It was hard growing up I had to repeat 1st Grade due to homelessness, I grew up with my mom jumping in and out of relationships, she was constantly getting abused and doing drugs so it was hard to see her go through that...Never had a father figure he left before I was born, and i had to go through adoption, I got taken away from my mom at the age of 8 or 9 and had to adjust to different families”.
