Kujo

Kujo, creator of IWJKY (It Will Just Kill You) hails from Barrington Illinois. He was exposed to clothing at a young age since his mom went to fashion school and would always be sewing/crocheting. Growing up, Kujo always needed to think through his outfit and he was always looking at clothes in class. Around freshman year of college he was feeling lost and wanted to work on something that would allow him to have a career outside of a normal 9-5.

Clothing design and styling is something that comes naturally for him and he feels like he has an “eye for design”. In 5 years he hopes to be very connected in the influencer/music genre. By this time, IWJKY will have morphed into something much more complex in terms of design and just general branding. Kujo wants IWJKY to be more than just a brand. He wants it to be a collective, a way of life.

The biggest struggle Kujo has faced is just gaining traction and getting a really committed fan base. Because his end goal is to have a cult not just supporters

Some his biggest inspirations are Konrad Eiring (his old track coach who started his own brand), Kanye West, and Batman.

Kujos message for the youth is to pursue a career in something that makes your hours feels like seconds. Something that you really care about could do for hours on end.
