Lincoln Roy

Based in Los Angeles, Lincoln Roy is more than a musician—he’s a cultural storyteller. With ancestral ties to Belize and a Jamaican grandfather, his identity is a vibrant tapestry woven from rich traditions and the vibrant pulse of LA life. As a fourth-generation musician, Lincoln channels his heritage and personal journey into a sound that is authentic and uniquely his own.

A Musical Legacy

Music runs deep in Lincoln’s veins. His father, a renowned reggae bassist, played alongside legends such as Julian Marley and Gregory Isaacs. Lincoln’s musical journey began in church, where he mastered the drums and keyboards, developing an innate sense of rhythm that forms the foundation of his artistry. His time as a student-athlete further instilled discipline and perseverance, traits that have been instrumental in his path as a musician.

Rising Above Challenges

Like many independent artists, Lincoln Roy’s journey hasn’t been without obstacles. Early on, he faced financial constraints and limited access to professional studios. Rather than giving up, he turned adversity into opportunity by building his own home studio, allowing him to hone his craft on his terms. To connect with audiences, he launched his own showcase, Concrete Jungle Live, creating a space for both his music and a growing community. Lincoln’s resilience and hard work embody his unshakable dedication to his art.
